Job Description:We are currently seeking a Manager of Human Resources Consulting to join our HR team. This position provides strategic leadership around the planning, developing and implementation of human resources strategies, programs, and processes in alignment with corporate mission and strategies; provides professional expertise and consultation to global business line management and employees regarding organizational design, employee performance, training, development, compensation, and employee relations; manages the Human Resources Consulting team.Specific responsibilities include:- Leads the development and implementation of short and long term strategic initiatives to drive productivity and business goals.- Leads the development and implementation of operational plans to deliver business unit initiatives such as departmental reorganizations, staffing optimization, work practice improvements, etc.- Leads cross-functional projects to build strategic capability across the organization.- Applies functional expertise to deliver HR services related to recruitment, benefits, compensation, performance management and employee/managerial development, employee relations.- Leads and develops the HR Consulting team, within a collaborative work environment to leverage the strengths of individual team members- Interprets and advises business line management on the application of company policies, procedures, processes, employee issues and employment law.Qualifications include:- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; Masters degree preferred.- 10 plus years of Human Resources Generalist experience supporting a designated client group with demonstrated competency in all HR generalist areas including employment law, employee relations, compensation, talent management, leadership development, strategic planning, benefits, and recruitment.- Strong client service and project management skills with results-orientation and proven leadership ability in a fast-paced, high performance, growth-oriented environment- Strong analytical skills to proactively identify and develop effective strategies and solutions to drive business results- Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners- Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills; must be able to effectively diagnose situations and develop creative solutions to address day-to-day business line needs, solve people related issues and enhance overall business results; strong business acumen is essential- Experience managing people required- Knowledge of and experience with international HR practices - Experience supporting a geographically distributed client group- Strong coaching and consultation skills- Strong oral and written communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization- Financial services industry experience preferred- Experience with payroll systems preferred. - SPHR, PHR, or GPHR preferred- 10-15% travel
