POSITION PURPOSE: The role of this position is to assist the President of the TCHRA as well as the Board in supporting all key initiatives while operating in accordance with our by-laws and mission.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning Drives the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan as established by the Board. Communicates the Strategic Plan and action items to the membership.
Succession Planning Assists the Board in identifying and developing future leaders in the Association. Recommends individuals to the Board for consideration of leadership roles at least ninety days prior to the end of the program year.
Member Survey Partners with the TCHRA office to develop and distribute an annual membership survey. Evaluates membership survey data and presents results to the Board for discussion and next steps.
Governance Provides strategic guidance for the Association regarding all aspects of its operations and administration.
Revenue Stream and Growth Works with the Board to identify revenue growth strategies to keep the Association financially sound.
Miscellaneous Serves as the secondary spokesperson for TCHRA. Serves as a liaison with other teams and committees by participating and serving as a member of the Board. Ensures his/her respective team activities are consistent with Association by-laws. Manages special projects as requested.
TERM: Nominated by the Nominating Committee and voted on by the membership, for a term of two (2) years immediately following Presidency. This position requires up to 4 hours of volunteer time monthly.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: The Past President reports up through the President.
