Roles: Vice President - Member Resources

POSITION TITLE:  Vice President Member Resources

POSITION PURPOSE: To lead and manage Mentoring, Networking, Marketing & Retention, Orientation and Member Processing team leads.

REQUIREMENTS:  Excellent Interpersonal, Networking, Coaching and Public Speaking Skills.  At least 10 years in HR field with leadership experience  Member of TCHRA for at least 7 years with 3 years of volunteer experience

PREFERRED BACKGROUND:

  • PHR / SPHR or advanced HR degree
  • SHRM Member
  • College degree

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and Board of Directors
  • Participate in policy formulation and decision making
  • Participate in the strategic planning process
  • Lead and manage teams within member resources
  • Convene and chair regular meetings of committee chairs for the purpose of generating ideas, reporting progress, solving problems and promoting communications
  • Ensure membership applications are reviewed on a regular basis
  • Ensure Orientation programs are implemented on a timely basis
  • Develop strategies for marketing to potential members
  • Design strategies for retention
  • Assist in special projects

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:  Reports to the president of TCHRA
