Tiffany is a member of SHRM and has been an active member with TCHRA since 2000. She has served on the Member Resources team as the Team Lead for both the Volunteers and New Members Committees, and on the Board of Directors as the VP of Member Resources, VP of Professional Development and VP of Finance & Administration.

Tiffany has over 16 years experience in human resources spanning across hospitality, not-for profit, financial services and manufacturing industries. She is currently a Staffing Leader with Honeywell where she oversees staffing performance and delivery for global businesses within Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions business group.

Tiffany earned her PHR certification in 2000 and obtained her BS in Speech Communications from Mankato State University and an MA in Organizational Management from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.

Sara Borresen joined TCHRA in 2006 and has been a volunteer for the Mentoring Team under Professional Development and a Team Lead for the Social Media Team under Marketing & Member Acquisition.  She joins the board in the role of VP College & University Relations.

Sara has more than eight years of Human Resources experience and is currently a Manager of Talent Management at Xcel Energy. 

Sara holds a Bachelor's degree from Minnesota State University and a MA in Human Resource and Change Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.

Melanie Olsen joined the TCHRA board in August 2011 as the VP of Communications. She has more than ten years of Human Resources experience spanning various industries including accounting/finance, hospitality, manufacturing as well as the airline industry. She currently is a Talent Development & Learning Manager, leading the global onboarding program and new employee experience, at 3M in St. Paul, MN where she has been since 2009. Previous to this role she held the role of university recruiting program lead and prior to that she was the lead corporate recruiter specializing in R&D recruitment, both at 3M.

Melanie holds a Bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in English and Political Science and has been PHR certified since 2009.

Sarah has been a member of TCHRA since 2000 serving on the Professional Development team and as a Team Lead for the Mentoring program. She joins the board as the VP Diversity & Inclusion.

Sarah is currently the Human Resources Director of Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development with Medtronic. She developed her human resources expertise with ten years of experience at Target, starting as an HR Generalist moving into people and project management positions.

Jason has been a member of TCHRA since 2003 when he relocated back to the Twin Cities from Atlanta.   He has been active on the TCHRA Board of Directors since June 2010, first as the VP of Professional Development and currently as the VP of Legislative Affairs.  In prior years, Jason has been actively involved in the volunteer ranks as a team lead for the Employee Relations Program from 2003 – 2008, and as a Co-Chair for the TCHRA 2010 Annual Spring Conference. 

Jason brings 17 years of experience working for software and engineering consulting firms; the public sector; healthcare, and currently is employed by MACC CommonWealth Services, which is a full service HR, IT, and Finance outsourcing agency in the Twin Cities.  His strengths excel in employee relations, change management, performance management, organization development and workforce planning.

Jason holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing (1995) and a Masters degree in Business Administration (2006).  He is PHR certified since 2003, Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, and holds numerous certificates in coaching and project management.

Rebecca is a member of SHRM and has been an active member with TCHRA since 2006. She recently began a new role at UnitedHealth Group as the College Marketing and Sourcing Manager, working to build a marketing foundation for a growing college recruitment team. Previously, Rebecca spent eight years working in the recruitment advertising industry in a variety of consultative and leadership roles. She has been a member with TCHRA since January 2006, serving on the board since 2007, and has been actively involved in planning marketing and communications, membership and networking events, conferences, as well as participating on the Recruitment and Selection Programming Committee.

She has served on the board of Twin Cities Rotaract, an organization of young professionals committed to community service and professional development, for three years. Rebecca holds a B.S. from Winona State University in Mass Communication and an M.B.A from the University of St. Thomas.

Steve rejoined TCHRA in 2008 and has served as the Team Leader of the Member Orientation team, and in 2010 received the 2009-2010 TCHRA Volunteer of the Year award for his dedication to the Association.  He joined the board in 2010 as the VP Membership Engagement & Retention.  
 
Steve has a Masters degree in HR from Michigan State University and a recent certification in Project Management from the University St Thomas. Steve is an advocate for youth leadership and is the Programming Director for the Minnesota Chapter of HOBY (Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership). As a local and national recruiter, Steve has sourced and placed over 300 people in jobs in Minnesota.

He brings over twenty-five years of Human Resources experience to the board, including work with the Employers Association (now Trusight, Inc.), Unisys Corporation, PepsiCo (Frito Lay, Inc.), and The Disney Company. Additionally, he has had consulting and permenant assignments at financial institutions like Ameriprise, TCF Bank, Wells Fargo, and US Bank.  Steve is the Staff Recruiter for SRF Consultings - a transportation engineering consulting firm.

Michele Pitsch-Brynteson has been a member of SHRM for five (5) years and TCHRA for three (3) years.  In 2010 Michele joined TCHRA as a Team Lead for the Spring Conference and joins the board this year as the VP Professional Development.  

She has worked as a Talent Management professional with 3M for six (6) years and brings more than 15 years of Human Resources experience to TCHRA.  Prior to her career with 3M she managed from 10 – 25 direct reports; led a 4 state region and managed a 10 million dollar P&L.  Her expertise is in employment law and best practices, compensation, talent acquisition, performance management and human capital planning.  

Michele earned an MA in Organizational Management from Concordia University.  She is certified as an SPHR.

Sue is currently the Senior Director of Training and Development for Perkins and Marie Callender's Restaurants, leading the strategic direction of the products, tools, and services that the company provides for its' employees and managers. She has over 15 years of progressive human resource experience in organizational development and expertise in coaching others to tap into their strengths to leverage continued success.

Sue holds a Bachelor of Science business degree from St. Cloud State University in Management and has been SPHR certified since 2009.

Sue Kruse is Senior Director of Training and Development at Perkins and Marie Callender's Inc. PMCI operates and franchises over 500 family restaurants throughout the United States and Canada.

Kruse has over 20 years of experience increasing revenue, profit margins, individual, and operational performance. She is a strategic thinker with expertise in mentoring, developing, and coaching others to tap into their strengths to leverage continued success.

Carrie has been a member of TCHRA since 1998 and has volunteered as a Team Leader for the Employee/Labor Relations Committee for TCHRA since 2005. She joined the board in 2010 as the VP Workforce Readiness.  Additionally, she has been a member of SHRM since 1998.

Carrie is a Human Resources Business Partner at Marquette Real Estate Group (United Properties, RJM Construction, NorthMarq) where she supports over 600 employees nationwide through proactive employee relations, consulting, performance improvement strategies, leadership and employee development training programs, benefits administration, etc. She brings with more than fourteen years of progressive human resource leadership to TCHRA.
