What is TCHRA’s Mission?
To provide high quality professional development, information exchange, and networking opportunities for human resource professionals.
Who is eligible for membership?
Student membership is open to any person actively engaged in a formal study of human resources or industrial relations at a recognized college or university located within Minnesota.

A convenient source of information via this website regarding job/internship openings in the human resources profession, or for use by members or their organizations when seeking to fill professional HR positions in their organization.
- Membership/Networking Directory
A resource of TCHRA members who are willing to share their knowledge and a variety of expertise on human resource issues. This information is available as part of the searchable, membership database under the Membership Resources section of this website.
- Team Involvement
TCHRA offers involvement in several teams which enables members to grow professionally, network and contribute to the continued growth and success of the human resource profession and provide community involvement. These committees include; Continuing Education, College and University Relations, Certification, General Programs, Leadership, Development Communications, Emerging Issues, Government Relations, Strategic Planning, Membership, Nominating, Special Projects, Newsletter Production, Website, Resource Directory, Education Outreach, Mentoring, Ethics, Member Development.
- Program Calendar
TCHRA publishes a comprehensive program calendar via this website, and as part of the bimonthly, News & Views newsletter. Discounted, member rates are available for most programs. TCHRA also lists programs and events of other, partner HR-oriented associations.
- General Meetings
At least two general membership meetings are held annually to stimulate thinking and discuss strategic issues facing the profession, as presented by national speakers, and to provide opportunities for networking.
- Bimonthly "News & Views" Newsletter
Publication for TCHRA members informing them on the organization's activities and current HR issues. Downloadable PDF format newsletters are available on-line to members on this website.
- Member Orientation
A resource meeting held bimonthly to help acquaint new members with TCHRA, or to provide an opportunity for longer-term members to reconnect.
What is the annual membership fee?
FREE if you are already a National SHRM student member (please complete registration for contact information)! If you are not a National SHRM member, the annual fee is $25.00. Your membership year is based on when you join.
